Living in St. Louis, you can’t go long before coming across some Budweiser promotional items at some point. We just happened to come upon 4 Budweiser guitars all at once. Pretty cool collection… if only we had the mountains of Busch to cap it off! Anheuser Busch has been a big part of St. Louis for a very long time. They have had a big influence on the area and communities. Whether that’s parks like Grant’s Farm, or the beer on every corner, AB has effected most people in the Gateway City.
All four of these guitars came in the shop from a guy whose father was an executive at Anheuser Busch. He also happened to play guitar, so for anniversaries and retirement he was given these guitars by the company. They were used originally for Budweiser promotions and events. Only a certain number of each type was made, each for different marketing events throughout the years. The red American HM Strat is 1 of 300 made! Quite rare…
PAUL REED SMITH SE BUDWEISER ELECTRIC GUITAR
A really cool SE with a fire Budweiser graphic and gold hardware. Those hot pickups sound great!
2002 GIBSON LES PAUL CUSTOM SHOP BUDWEISER ELECTRIC GUITAR
Classic Les Paul body topped with a Bud graphic under a clear pickguard. You have to see the “grain” on this one!
1989 FENDER BUDWEISER HEAVY METAL STRATOCASTER ELECTRIC GUITAR
American made and decked out, this one has the locking system and bridge-humbucker for the shredders in us all!
1993 FENDER STRATOCASTER BUD ICE ELECTRIC GUITAR
This one was made in Mexico with a Bud Ice graphic. It plays and sounds much better than it tastes!
It’s always fun to get cool unique gear in, and these hit close to home with the history Anheuser Busch has in St. Louis. Come check these out before they are gone.
And as always – be sure to check out the Music Go Round St. Louis Web Site to see and buy all of our gear!
